About Me
My name is Cale Frederick. I live in Muscle Shoals, Alabama with my wife Samantha and our three children Claire, Connor and Christopher. My wife and I have been gifted with hearts for children who have been placed in difficult circumstances and we have opened our home to serve as a foster family for children who come into care in Colbert County. I currently run a freelance graphics design company in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. My family and I love the outdoors and spend as much time as we can outside!
I enjoy art on many levels and across several platforms. As the son of an art professor and a carpenter, I appreciate both the aesthetics as well as the methods that are used to create works. Graphic design became an interest of mine during my high school years working on the yearbook staff. We had a very rudimentary computer workstation that allowed us to visualize our pages although most of our work including cropping the photos was performed by hand. After high school I began my career path in woodwork and cabinetry. While I enjoyed woodworking I took a design class in college where I was introduced to Adobe Illustrator along with Photoshop and from that moment on I was hooked.
